Dish setup box

Guys, i didn't use my dish setup box last 3 months .. I received call from dish TV that since the setup box belong to company property we wanna take over it ..

Am just wondering i didn't even receive any retention call .. How they can able to their business in right way?

Any body have same experience like me ?

According to Their Terms and Conditions Company owns the STB- you have to Return the STB and Other Accessories which came with it (Applies to all dth connections) But if you want to retain it, when they call next time tell them Wrong number or something. If they visit your place make sure you hide the STB somewhere and tell you have misplaced it while installing a New one.

and bro mostly dish tv and airtel digital tv's user received retention call.
but some company also have retention offer.
ex. if u recharge 6 month they give 6 month extra.
or
and u not used their box so ask about deposit refund, if they agree to pay, give them back.

Yaaa i bought just 6 months before

i did not recharge it for three months , i did not receive any call. Even if they call , i will say its a wrong number and i am in a different location .They cannot enforce anything on you,even if the company owns the box , they just cannot come and take it from u. As far as my knowledge about 20-30% of DTH users are inactive most of the time
