Dish TV Dth sound clarity

Hi, I am currently using Dish TV Nxt HD set top box. The sound clarity of SD channels are very pathetic, noway near to wired cable connection. I have contacted technicians, they checked signal strength and all but of no use, issue still persist. Signal strength is there and they told like problem is with TV. But i checked TV and tried taking av out from set top box and connected to speakers. Still no improvement. Requesting valuable suggestions

Try using HDMI output if you are not already.

I am using Sony TV and a earlier model specifically for music and DishTV Tru HD sound is very good on the same.Its surely an issue which may be of TV. As per @RLOA bro I am using HDMI and the sound is one of the best one can get.
