dish tv hd gives max sd and hd in 399 rs pack

Dear friends,

If we now look at dish tru hd world pack of 399 rs it is providing all kind of hindi and english sd channels along with 21 true hd channels.

Now with recent change in approach, dish tv has suddenly become very reasonable. If you compare 388 rs pack gold hd of d2h which has always been low cost dth, is now surpassed by dish tv. This pack of d2h does not have many of english channels of sd, no english news and no sports sd, although it has all 22 hd channels.

So in non-dvr series now dish tv is most economical. They have brought all major hd channel in lowest pack. Be it zee cinema hd, zee studio hd or star hd channels. This is an overhaul in dish tv and really appreciated.

Hope they continue with same strategy.

HBO HD Channels Are Ad-Free & It Is Acceptable To Have Them In A Separate Aa-La-Karte Pack,

BTW Dish TruHD+ Doing Good Things At The Moment

But They Must Consider ESS HD Channels Addition

yes as of now they seem to be really good but its tough competition out here so we never know which DTH will bounce back and catch them up.

Yes, the day they launch double tuner dvr and ess hd then no one will even touch them even half way. I was closely looking at world hd pack and it is like bonanza given by political parties during election year. Home it continues after election (digitisation).

Otherwise it is not unbelievable to have,
All hindi channels
Regional channels - wide spectrum
All music channels - wide spectrum
All sports - except few
All english movies
All english movies
And 21 hd
In 399 rs.

Few exclusive hd channels
True hd channels have excellent pq.
All sports - not available in others in 399rs hd pack

Cons (hopeful for all below, looking at recent initiatives)
No sd base pack allowed
No double tuner dvr
No ess hd yet
Not all hd in 5.1 ch
