4 feet (120cm) prime focus dish antenna rib parameters - (Do-It-Yourself) are given below:

*Note: Wire-mesh or perforated mesh panels are okay for North Indian regions if catching satellites with good EIRP like Insat 4A.
In other regions use perforated or solid metal sheets. Wire-mesh may not give good performance.

###The tolerance in measurements error is given in ± figures.

focal Length f = 46cm ±0.5cm
Diameter D = 120cm ±5cm
depth d = 19.56cm ±0.5cm
f/D Ratio = 0.383 ±0.02

.

x and y co-ordinates for plotting curve for antenna rib with radius 60cm ±2.5cm. Two ribs in one line will give ~120cm long curve and that can be mounted.

x=0cm y=0cm
x=5cm y=0.13cm
x=10cm y=0.54cm
x=15cm y=1.22cm
x=20cm y=2.17cm
x=25cm y=3.40cm
x=30cm y=4.90cm
x=35cm y=6.65cm
x=40cm y=8.70cm
x=45cm y=11.00cm
x=50cm y=13.58cm
x=55cm y=16.44cm
x=60cm y=19.56cm
