Doubt reg :Increased pic quality in HDMI

Dear Beloved Members,


I would like to know whether there is a noticeable increase in clarity of video and in audio in the SD channels after switching to a Tata Sky HD Set top box. initially i used a component cable in my SD STB

And may i know what brand of HD STB's that tatasky provide customers recently. Not sure whether its Thomson, Humax, Pace or Technicolor.

Its opposite for me. While using HDMI connectivity, the SD channels look less sharp. The sharpness is increased if we use component cable.
