Downscaled HD Channels Aspect Ratio on Tata Sky

Its becoming frustrating day by day on Tata Sky. Why doesnt Tata Sky use a single policy for all downscaled HD channels?

Some downscaled HD channels such as Comedy Central, Baby TV, Epic, etc are shown in 16:9 aspect ration i.e. without black bars on top and bottom.

But many other downscaled HD channels such as History TV18, MTV Indies, Travel XP, etc are shown in 4:3 aspect ration i.e. with black bars on top and bottom.

Tata Sky should either show all downscaled HD channels in 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratio.

I hope one day they'll start showing all downscaled HD channels in 16:9 ratio.

Totally agree with you. Liking the channel Travelxp but because of the aspect ratio it is not looking good.

Because SD Channels for SD Customers. ...most of the sd customers using crt tv...4:3 p.q looking better then 16:9 p.q in sd crt tv... but some channels aspect ratio 4:3 but full screen look like Ten Sports,News Live...if you watch this channels on led tv automatically converted to 16:9.

4:3 would mean black bars on the sides, 21:9 (or 2.4:1) means black bars on top and bottom, and yes I agree all downscaling channels should be 16:9.
