DreamBox DM800-HD multimedia.TV Specifications:
The Latest in the Dreambox series. The infamous Dreambox 800 HD. The first Linux receiver to have High Definition and Hard Disk capability. Its a very Powerful Receiver for Digital TV and Radio programs. Main features are a 300Mhz Processor, Linux TV DVB-S2 API to view HDTV, 10/100Mbit compatible Ethernet Interface, DVI Connector, plug and play Tuner, Brilliant OLED display, and SATA for use of internal HDD 2.5?and eSATA.

what is the purpose of sata. and why people use ferrari sim in this?

Sata hard disc for recording , it is pvr and we can watching recording from this, and no know about sim, 10/100Mbit compatible Ethernet Interface for net connectvity........

Is this better than Solid HD-S2 2100 stb?

approx Rs. 6000 For Dm500,
u can view all pay channel with dreambox....that not in solid, u can view only fta channel in solid

Can we watch all SD & HD channels of Dishtv, d2h, Tatasky.. etc using DreamBox DM800 HD?
if so , Please desbribe how?
