Seeking Help DTH plan/service provider to choose from

Hi folks,
I'm currently using Airtel DTH with HD infinity pack that is getting expired in few days.

Now I'm thinking of whether to renew the pack or not.

What I like in airtel:
1. superb picture quality
2. almost all channels are available at 5,801 per month
3. Supports Dolby digital audio

What I don't like: Very less volume for HD channels; I want to know if that is the same across all DTH providers.

My requirements:
1. All tamil channels
2. All HD channels
3. Dolby digital plus 7.1 surround sound as I have a HT audio system

I came across a pack in Sun DTH for close to 4,500 per year with all the HD channels. Should I go for Airtel or sun direct or any other? Please help.

Sun Direct is definitely a good choice as moreover Raja Chennai bro said more tps coming so more channels. But in current scenario Tamil channels are less. So think wisely. In current scenario Tata sky best

You'll be amazed when you see the list of Tamil channels in Sun Direct. You have to choose TS or ADTV.

I would say Tata Sky is best when it comes to channel availability and quality but at same time it is costly.

Answer of your requirements :
1) Tata Sky has most (5) Tamil HD channels
2) Tata Sky has most # of HD channels
3) Tata Sky has most # of 7.1 DD+ audio HD channels

But you have to pay more money than other DTH providers.

Pardon my ignorance, is there a comparable pack like airtel infinity in Tata Sky? Also, is the volume issue for HD channels prevalent across DTH providers?

Then Airtel is much better in terms of cost I guess.. I found one annual subscription along with the HD STB for Rs. 8,550. which is around 3K more than that of Airtel!
