DTH recommendation

Guys this thread was started by me for purchase of new DTH. After all the suggestions i purchased VIDOECON D2H and i am using the same for exact 1 year and never got any problem with it. Now planning to recharge for next 1 year for south platinum HD (i am using the same now). Also they have started adding new channels especially in Kannada. D2H cinema particular channel at LCN 222 (even though i watch hindi movies rarely) u get all recent movies are showed every Friday. All and all for members who are in look out for new DTH like me suggest them to consider Videocon D2H.

also i make same. but i purchased tatasky because i want less regional channel, quantity does not matter for me, quality my 1st preference.
so i go for tatasky.


when start dth portability.
now stb will be mandatory so dth potability should be start.

I don't think there is much difference between Tata sky and D2H in terms of clarity.

Tatasky always steals attention with a better picture quality. But that doesn't mean other dth picture is worse.

Let me put it this way. I've been on a d2h South Platinum HD connection for the last 1 year. My family members are more than happy with the SD picture quality. HD experience is just amazing. My dad occasionally says - even though the program is boring we can still watch it just because its in High Definition. Our usage patterns are kind of random - usually cover all genres. Thats why had to go for the highest package. No issues in last one year (except for a bit sluggish software update) and recharged for one more year with same package.

Well, I may get better picture on tatasky, but I feel its definitely not worth chagning simply for that extra wow factor.
