DTH sets were distributed today by SP, Chandel, K Radhasyam, to the clubs and organisations in Chandel district.K Radhasyam said that the programme was being conducted under the supervision of DGP, Y Joykumar to build good relationship between police and general public.Not only this, many programmes are on the offing for better police-public relations, he said.
Speaking on the occasion, President, Meetei Council Moreh, N Pulindro said that distribution of DTH sets to public is a right step taken by police department.
Such programmes will narrow down the gap in police-public relation.
Addl Sp Chandel Md Firoz Khan, Addl Sp Moreh Y Asokumar and police officers under SP, Chandel were also present at the distribution function.
Among those who recieved the DTH sets today were Panchai Youth Club, Chandel, Liwa Khullen Youth Club, Chandel, Maha Area Chief Associatoon, Chandel, Ruwangchang Youth Club, Chakpikarong, Sajik Tampak Youth Club, Sajik Tampak, Khengjoi Youth Club, Khengjoi, Machi Youth Club, Machi Sub Division, Tengnoupal Youth Club, Tengnoupal, Hill Tribal Council, Moreh and Muslim Council Moreh.
