E! Entertainment Television, NBCUniversal International Networks’ pop culture channel, will launch for the first time in Taiwan on 1 July across both linear and OTT platforms.

Subscribers of linear cable TV provider CNS, OTT channel aggregator FTV and mobile TV platform Asia Pacific Telecom will be among the first in Taiwan to access the channel, which will be available with Chinese subtitles.

Available in 160 countries around the globe, E! is the home of pop culture, capturing the topics including personalities, trends, music, fashion, TV, movies, art and nightlife. NBCUniversal International Networks, Asia-Pacific MD Christine Fellowes said, “As the leading destination for pop culture and one of our portfolio’s iconic global brands, the launch of E! in Taiwan marks an important milestone for NBCUniversal’s International footprint in the Asia-Pacific region.

“We are delighted that viewers in Taiwan can now enjoy E!’s exclusive content offerings, featuring up-to-the-minute Hollywood news, the most talked-about reality entertainment and fascinating profiles of the hottest A-list celebrities.”

E!’s key programming highlights for the month of July include encores of reality shows ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ and ‘#RichKids of Beverly Hills’, as well as the flagship daily showbiz bulletin show E! News, airing ‘Express from the US’ from Tuesday to Sunday. New series include ‘Stewarts And Hamiltons’, premiering on 28 July.
