Hi,
Does anyone have any idea about the total size of the Electronic Program Guide (EPG) data size in the total bandwidth used for DTH transmission?
Let's take the example of 100 channels on a DTH. Ideally it would contain the following data in the transmission.
1) Audio and Video for all 100 channels
2) EPG (text data) for all 100 channels
3) Other text data like program synopses, subtitles, etc.
The above data put together would constitute 100% of the data size to be transmitted. Can someone help me with a break-up of the EPG data size only in the total transmission bandwidth need?
Thanks in advance for help.
