Error in force upgrade Dish tv

Hello, 

My dishtv was working fine till today morning. Now it doesnt turn on at all, even sometime when it does (after plugging out the power cable and plugging in back) nothing comes up in the screen. i should also say that couple of time it said error in force upgrade! then it showed only three options "ok" "cancel" and "exit". Now that i m trying ot switch on again nothing is coming on the screen. i believe lately there was some issue with this??

help needed to solve this. please!

Genuine way to upgrade software in dishtv

---Switch off your settop box ,press and hold the power button  on settop box and  switch ON the settop box  Now it will start upgrade......
