→ Zee Media's in-house production arm Essel Vision Production Ltd (EVPL) is all set to roll out its maiden production in South India, a fiction project titled "Thirumangalyam" being produced for its Tamil satellite channel "Zee Tamizh"
Earlier, tvnews4u.com has reported the fact that Essel Vision is setting its foot in South Indian market, to start off with its content production for Zee Tamizh and its future plans of expanding to other Southern languages like Telugu and Kannada.
The new Fiction show "Thirumangalyam" is expected to be slotted at @ 7:30PM (Monday - Friday) in place of "Gayathri", starting from 10th November onward.
Channel sources confirm that "Thirumangalyam" touched a unique concept based on the life and sacrifice of each and every police officer and the ordeal of his family due to lack of attention and short comings in parenthood on a cops family.
The concept of "Thirumangalyam" unravels the difference between the life of a common man and a Police man. It is a fact that because people in brown uniform, awake and guard the public, we all feel safe and sleep at home. We feel our families and lives are being protected. But then how would be the family life of such police men who stay away from their homes, most of the day.
Do they too have same kind of personal life like us or is their day to day challenges, emotions, bonding are different than that of a normal citizen.
Does this peculiar duty of Police service affect their own family life and relationship.
The story of ‘Thirumangalyam’ is all about emotions and conflicts in the life of Simran, the daughter of an Asst Commissioner of Police K. Mohandas.
She has a strict principle of not marring a cop in her life, as her father's life itself is a bad example of a police man's life and she herself a victim for being the daughter of a Police officer. But her destiny tweaks her principles, when an ordinary Constable Murugan falls in love with Simran.
Zee Tamizh has started its on air promo's and it is also planning to rollout the promotion campaign in other mediums shortly.
