the latest buzz is that there’s strong speculation regarding all the shows of Star Bharat being pulled off air except for newly launched show Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya 2.

The channel currently has shows like RadhaKrishn, Teri Laadli Main, Amma Ke Babu Ki Baby, Savdhaan India, and Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya Season 2. However, apparently because of the revamp of the channel, all the shows except for Pratigya 2 will bid adieu to viewers.

Star's Management has gone mad. They destroyed Channel-V, from being Music Channel to Youth Channel, then again Music Channel and later closed it. They are still clueless about what to do with bindass, an iconic youth channel, and changing its genre again and again.

It was working fine on DDFD, then they withdrew it and later change gener to comedy, then again changed gener to GEC. Star Bharat should be Freemium Channel, with a mix of Fresh and OldHits, be available on DDFD.

Remember that, changing geners frequently is always been a bad idea, as this idea destroyed Big Magic, Channel V, Bindass, Star Bharat.

Atleast Life OK brand was way better than Star Bharat. It Had more connect with the audience and their shows were much better than this most of the time Savdhan India showing channel.
Anyways let's see what happens after this revamp. I think this will be the last try, if it fails this time, then Most likely shutdown on cards

Still Bindass hasn’t shut down, nor has SWP HD despite being on ventilator support for years. Star Bharat and &TV won’t shut down so easily. But they absolutely should. Sony Sab is the only secondary Hindi GEC to be successful.

Well gone r the days when one could have a youth channel with mix of reality or fiction shows. In age of easily available internet and plethora of entertainment content tv is no longer preferred destination for youth. So Channel V or Bindass cannot be back as youth channels unless they put in massive effort on content which will require huge investment and economics will b unviable. Already MTV is struggling to remain relevant. Main problem is that broadcasters r not evolving with changing requirements

Star Bharat will succeed if they bring good shows, combo of fiction, reality, award shows will work. Star World Premiere has extremely small and niche audience and i applaud star/disney for bringing in good shows on this channel and also still keep Star Gold Select up and running. These may not fetch ratings or revenue but adds immense value to broadcaster bouquet of channels
