First look: New Anushka Sharma for Aamir'sPK

is the case with an Aamir Khan film, PK,
too, is living up to its predecessors as far as
the mystery and secrecy quotient is
concerned. After Aamir's almost-n*de
transistor poster was released, the film had
received a considerable amount of buzz from
both within the industry and outside. However,
apart from Aamir, the looks of the other actors
in the film - Anushka Sharma and Sushant
Singh Rajput - hadn't been revealed yet. That
is, until now.
According to photos doing the rounds of the
internet, Anushka Sharma is in a short-haired
avatar in PK. The actress, who is famous for
her long, straight locks, was required to cut
her hair short for Rajkumar Hirani's PK, but
she wasn't able to due to her other film
commitments. Sharma, apart from PK, is
working in Bombay Velvet and NH10 as well,
and hence, chose to don a wig for PK.
Speaking to a tabloid, a source said, "Director
Rajkumar Hirani was keen to have Anushka
don this look. He tried quite a few looks before
finalising this one. Rajkumar thinks that this
hairdo adds a new dimension to her personality
and character."
And despite initial scepticism, the unit
members approved of Anushka's wig, and have
declared their love for her look. And we
couldn't agree more!

MUMBAI: Aamir Khan is leaving no
stone unturned in promoting his
upcoming film PK.

The first poster of PK garnered
enough buzz in the market with the
actor posing almost n*de in the first look of the film.

In order to keep the buzz alive, it was being speculated that Khan will be looking at releasing about seven to eight posters of the film before the trailer.

The posters until now have had Khan and the recent one had Sanjay Dutt as a part of it. It is only now that the leading lady of the film, Anushka Sharma revealed that she will be giving us a glimpse of her avatar in the film's next poster.

Aamir Khan created a stir as he posed n*de with only the transistor for the first poster of PK. And now Anushka Sharma follows suit, as the actress dresses up in
quirky outfits, along with a transistor.

In one of posters, Anushka Sharma has dressed up just like Aamir Khan.

Anushka's character in the film has
an unusual name, she goes by Jagat Janini,and it seems like the makers have a deep thought behind naming her character so.

However the reasoning will only come to light once the film hits the screens this December.

However, this is not the first
time that a film's poster has been
embroiled in controversies. There are many instances when a stunning poster is released to help garner eye-balls and create enough buzz before the film's
release.
