Very bad news. Airtel doesn't add new channels only remove. Airtel only add services channels which is very costly no useful for customers

Food Food is a popular and independently owned cooking channel. Why it was removed I have no idea at all.

Last year also, airtel removed Food Food in may & added it back in october. Let's see when they'll add it this time.

You are right. But they will add Shemaroo TV, CBeebies, Filamchi soon. Hope they will add tamil channels also which is your wish.

If new transponder will added soon then many new channels including Tamil channels will be available on airtel digital TV. Airtel already said that Many brodcasters giving signals to them for adding their channels on airtel platform.

That's not for the present situation. It's only applicable to the channels which are star marked in the list & this time they haven't released any list.

Airtel has said Nil in response to " requests received from broadcasters and RIO been signed "but below that clearly mentioned that there r requests received from broadcasters but RIO not signed till now
