D2h has more than Tata Sky... For regional channels, D2h is best.

Yes bro..I hate all dth mainly Airtel if they add any new Tamil channels they removing in few months..I hate ..dth operater seeing only money not customer what want

Each operator has key markets where they r strong hence u will notice each one having greater number of channels in those languages. Airtel / Dish r getting high activations from North / West region while D2H / Sun Direct has more connect in southern part of country. Tata Sky seems to be more balanced but again lacks penetration in rural or smaller towns ... It is trying hard to let go its premium tag there while maintaining niche value in elite segment.


Also south indian market is tough to operate with strong cable tv sector backed by government subsidy and major player like Sun in dth sector

Count Airtel in for Assamese market. It carries all Assamese satellite channels. Also recognises the state language of Assam.
