Colors is loosing its brand value

They already lost Brand Value when dragged Putta Gowri, Lost Viewers never came back to Channel...
Now Doing same with Bhagya Laxmi and Laxmi Baramma

Colors is loosing its brand value & Star is gaining the brand value currently.

Colors should focus on Upperclass and Tier 1, Reality Shows and more on Non fiction.

Star Suvarna on middleclass and Tier 2 & 3 (Millennials), mass viewership

Colors super on GenZ and GenAlpha

Star Suvarna Plus and Colors Kannada cinema as movies channel without differentiating. It should be just like different screen in multiplex

Currently Colors Kannada has more viewers in urban areas than in rural areas. Colors channel was no1 for many years when it aired serials like Puttagouri Maduve, Lakshmi Baramma-1 and Agnisakshi.

If Colors keeps doing this, it will never be able to overtake Zee Kannada.
Even though the ratings of Zee Kannada serials are a bit low, the channel wakes up very quickly and brings a twist to the story to keep its viewers from going elsewhere. But Colors does the opposite.

JioStar Should launch reality shows for kids below 15 age group with shows like dance, drama, singing, talent etc. by including sentiment emotions.

It would attract mass viewers especially more of teenage and also they become loyal to the channel once they grow.

Kids are the game changer.. Eg: when star Suvarna struggling to get 2TVR in non mythological serials, launching of Namma Lacchi got attention to many mass viewers.

If we look at the history, serials like Muddulaxmi with kids, lakumi, neeli, milana, chukki, Avanu Mathe Shravani s1 etc all got a hit in the channel .. including UURY.

Currently they are experimenting in KKM serial. This will take time as they changed the story all together..

If DD Chandana wants to telecast Movies, do they need to buy Satellite rights?

Currently its playing old movie Olavu Geluvu..

Haven't seen any new movies in recent decades.

As BSNL is tieing up with OTTPlay to offer live tv and OTTs to give competition, DD channels should also tie up with some Distributors to air good recent movies and to have its presence.
