In my region area dd freedish is showing no signal in all frequency are w.e.f. 5 /8/'20, 11.30am

May be technical issue from prasar Bharti

Zee Network and sun news channel are running normally with dd freedish alignment.

We wait for 48hrs. And also wait for intimation of prasar Bharti if any major issue then they will be declared.

All dd Freedish channels are working normally with correct EPG and LCN.

Now there have no technical issue.

During independence day programme, DD news hd on freedish is relaying dd national hd without dd news logo. It gives clean look of dd national hd. Good initiative by free dish. Dishtv also shares freedish signal.

Why some pay channels are offered as FTA on DDFD?

Sony Pal, Colors Rishtey, Star Utsav, Zee Anmol etc. are pay on other platforms. Shouldn't they be free on other platforms too?

Depend on the channel owner. DDFD copy advertize their channel among viewer & can demanded by viewer on other dth where it unavailable. Free for DDFD but paid on other dth (in encrypted mode) & huge chance to be part of all pack and earn according to the price. Through both, DDFD & DTH they reach maximum viewer through good content which enough to attract advertizer. For example, an old DDFD channel ran lPL match on DDFD & now available on DTH for ₹ 3 / month without tax & free on DDFD.
