Can anyone check if after enabling of multi language option on &flix , some movies being aired are now available with this or not? Also with dolby audio getting dropped from &flix HD, have they stopped SD feed and now giving downscaled HD feed to SD subscribers? Just speculating but chances r there as it would save money for them in present scenario where their English Channels are hardly having viewers.

Also hope Sony will revamp into a light hearted sitcom channel, action or dramas do not have ability to pull audiences like it had 3 or 4 years back.... Nowadays OTT is best suited for it. Taking comedy central route is best bet. Also Sont branding should be adopted for better connect as AXN tag has limited appeal among niche segment. Same goes for Fox Life, they need to refresh content and bring it under Star branding.

Some people complain about indian broadcasters being so adamant on having big or flashy logos but truth is it plays vital role in getting noticed in Indian Market. There r many people who tune into or recognise a channel thru logo and build a bond with it. For niche genres where this trend is not in practice, broadcasters self adopt sleeker/smaller logos. So all in all these aspects need to be factored into before we discuss upon it

Wild Wild India - 25th November onwards at 9 PM on Sony BBC Earth

One more new adventure show starting from 25th November at 10 PM, i forgot the name.

Also Seven Words One Planet narrated by Sir David Attenborough is coming soon.

Sony needs to sort the packaging and pricing else very tough for them to remain in competition within infotainment genre. Should have done 5 or 6 months back but still not that late, they have such great content but not able to capitalise properly.

Chak De - Entirely latest music

Music - Mix of latest music, sufi and other forms of music + live concerts or festivals etc.

Gold - Entire focus on movies from different eras + music as fillers

News - News covering Punjab, HP , Haryana and some about other parts of India

Simran - Dedicated to showcase spiritual songs, religious teachings, cultural functions , gurbani etc

Disney/Star, Sony or Viacom18 should launch a channel for international cinema with english subtitles... Really miss Lumiere Movies, UTV World Movies. Even Turner should bring back TCM

Also in my opinion Viacom18 and Disney should join hands and launch channels in hindi movie, english movie and entertainment genre in India.... They will have robust and attractive line up alongwith good financial backing. Already TV18 has partnership with Disney thru A&E networks and operating History, FYI. If somehow Sony, Discovery join Viacom-CBS as being spoken about then this can be replicated with them instead of Star/Disney.

All in all in India broadcasters need a grouping specially in niche genre otherwise future looks not so bright for such channels

I think Indra Kumar movies again going back to Star India, Zee is airing them quite often just like they r doing with SRF or Firoz Nadiadwala movies.... Broadcasters engage in it when rights r to expire and shift to competitors. Dil, Beta, Mann, Masti, Dhamaal, Double Dhamaal, Rishtey etc will be the ones to jump ship. Total Dhamaal has worked out really well for Star India hence they must have taken this decision to build on relations
