Kapil Sharma has come a long way since his days as a theatre artist to being India's most recognised stand-up comedian.

Enjoy the Kapil Sharma Show while you can because it will reportedly go off air after only 13 weeks.
According to a leading daily, Kapil said that for this new show, they have sorted a 26-episode series spanning over the next 13 weeks, unlike Comedy Nights with Kapil, which was extended due to its extreme popularity.
“When we started with CNWK, we had planned to make it a series. But then, it started doing extremely well and we continued with the show. But for this new show, we already have it sorted. It will be a 26-episode series spanning the next 13 weeks,” Kapil told DNA.
With this, the 35-year-old comedian assured that after a small break post 13 weeks, they will start the next season and this will be a continuous process.
Though The Kapil Sharma Show started with much hype, it failed to live up to people’s expectations in the first weekend.
The Kapil Sharma Show also includes Ali Asgar, Sunil Grover, Kiku Sharda, Sumona Chakravarti and Chandan Prabhakar and airs on Sony Entertainment Television at 9 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
