If Sun deduct GST at the time of recharge then it's definitely double GST

Sundirect debited gst when you Recharge
Then they will not charge gst when you purchase Channels. After purchasing Channels calculate your amount

When you add Rs 500, they will deduct GST.
When you add channels they will charge GST. If you purchase star value pack for 39, you have to pay Rs 45. Hence, double GST.

Is it happening in new trai era or it was happening earlier also ? BTW other DTH add all 500 if we recharge 500

I only purchased few channels previously. Hence, not seriously checked these things. I initially charged Mega pack from sunshine center.

when we select channels or packs and click proceed they will show grand total price including gst. But gst is not deducted from balance amount. you can check balance amount and verify yourself that gst is not deducted.
