Leading telemarketing company HBN India (formerly known as TELEBrands) is planning to more than double its turnover in 2016, by increasing its penetration as well as retail presence.

"We have a market share of close to 20 per cent, and revenues of around Rs 100 crore. Our plan is to increase our penetration in tier II and tier III cities, besides adding new products to our portfolio in 2016,” HBN India Managing Director Hitesh Israni told Deccan Herald.

The company is aiming for revenues of Rs 200 crore in 2016. Besides, it plans to open 24 new retail stores in the year, Israni said. HBN India currently has 110 shops, and supplies products to over 3,000 shops across the country. It also has 150 retail distributors spread across the length and breadth of the country.

According to Israni, HBN India is eyeing newer geographies outside India, besides looking at increasing presence across more direct-to-home platforms.

"We have started operations in the US, nearly three months ago. The company has plans to expand its presence overseas in locations like Europe,” Israni said. The company already has international distribution in many countries like Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, the Maldives, Afghanistan and the Middle East.

"We have plans to start our channel on Tata Sky and Sun DTH by March 2016,” Israni added. HBN India currently reaches over 40 million homes and 160 million viewers in India.
