Seeking Help HDMI no audio

My new airtel xstream box doesn't give audio when connected to my tv with the hdmi cable provided in the box, however my personal hdmi cable give audio along with video any solution why the airtel hdmi cable doesn't give audio

May be you are inset hdmi cable in hdmi arc port in tv. Please check other hdmi port

This same thing happened few days ago and i compalint it to Airtel they sent an engineer to my home but unfortunately i was not home, he fixed the problem but the problem happened today again, i have complaint it to airtel again but i wanted to know what may have caused this issue

Maybe cable is faulty or old version cable and thus does not support hdmi arc
