HomeShop18 launches app for iPad and Android tablets

Online shopping has now been simplified. With the Network18 backed e-tailer, HomeShop18 launching an app ‘HS18’ for iPad and Android tablets. The app is has been launched to customise the browsing experience on 10" tablets.

With the growth in the sale of tablets and also download of apps, HomeShop18 has found a great potential in this segment. Also a global research firm IDC in its report has stated that the overall tablet market in India has grown three times in 2013. That apart, the study conducted by ABI Research has said that online shopping will become one of the main activities on 80 per cent of tablet app downloads by 2016.

The app will allow users to check delivery location and product availability while buying a product, allowing consumers to browse ten products in one go. The e-tailer already has mobile apps for both iOS and Android platforms.
