Seeking Help How to deactivate TataSky connection temporarily?

Hi all.

I am not going to use Tatasky connection for a month or two. So, how do I deactivate it during this time?

1. If I dont recharge, will my balance go to negative or will it become deactivated?

2. What are the charges and rules for temporary deactivation?

  • Log in to my tatasky.com,
  • Choose Contact us option,
  • Click on New request
  • Nature of Request --> My Account Related
  • Type of Request --> Temporary Suspension
  • Select the account you want to Suspend,
  • Select reason of suspension,
  • Choose suspension Start & End Date
  • Give a brief description for this suspension and Submit.
This service is Free of cost and can be used whenever you want.

It can be done in Help&FAQ section of Tata Sky app too or by contacting Tata Sky through Live Chat or Call.

You account will be deactivated and no balance will be deducted during that period. There are no charges for this, it's completely free.
 
1) Go to My Tata Sky app
2) select option help & FAQ
3) go to option raise request
4) nature of request- select Account related
5) type of request- select Temporary Suspension
6) Device details- complete account
7) reason- Ur choice
8) start date
9) end date
Kindly note minimum suspension period is 7 days & Max there is no limit.
 
Is there any cap for the occurances, ie these many times in an year?

Bro, minimum suspension period is 5 days, please correct it.

How to reactivate again before end date?
You have to Contact customer service for that, it cannot be done through self care. Again, there are no charges for this too.
