I don't want to update DishTV software.
With every software update the recording system gets changed due to which my old recordings doesn't play after software update.
Also , the recording feature which I am now using for free gets changed to paid after software update.
The software before recent firmware has no bugs like previous versions and its very fast and responsive so I dont want to lose it.
I have changed to Sri lankan Dish TV transponder to avoid from software update but few Indian channels are not showing up.
Like ZEE TV HD and Star utsav movies which I need to watch.
Anyone knows any trick to disable software update with Indian transponder setting.
Whenever I changes to default home transponder, it starts updating the firmware immediately.
So without updating recent firmware I cannot use the dish tv to watch my fav channel with Indian transponder setting.
Any help will be appreciated.
