I will not be using my DTH for a month and want to deactivate it for a month. How to do that?

Call CC and ask for temporary deactivation. They will then ask for the number of days and process your request after that you would see an "No account balance" screen on your TV.

All DTH operators offer temporary deactivation. Some like Tata Sky allow you do process request by an app and others like Dish TV & d2h have only option to contact CC.
