How to search channels in Fastway SD set top box of fastway digital cable in haryana

Hi Guys,

I have installed Fastway digital cable set top box at my home.
but i am not getting lot of channels , not even in channel list also , like cartoon network, movies now, wb, hbo, pogo and lot more also.

Is there any method to do channel search because i m not able to see any such on my box.
even i contacted my cable operator he said we don't know , we just install and it works.
the box is of cisco with model no. is dvb-3410 , white colour SD box.
Help me out to get out of this rid.

Press Home button & right arrow click various categories list available u check now :k

All channel list press ok button & up/down

ya i did whole thing. these 6-7 channels name is not coming even in any list , i.e. in favourites also.

i didn't get any option to search the channels in my set top box, also the channel list which i saw on forum is not resembled for many channels for e.g zee tv is on 5 no. but i m getting it on 527.
also the channels are not aligned properly, as some news channels are coming in starting and some in middle and some in last.

do you have any idea how to do manual channel search

bro u never found search option in SD box...


nd ur area cable opreator choose which pack u can able to watch..

but at least name should come in channel list.
also in my area pay 200 per month and enjoy all channels.
but i m not gettin these 10-12 channels even their name is also not appearing in epg list.

and also tell me if any new channels add in network then how we know it, will it automatically add or what.

bro, r you using fastway of haryana state???????????? then you would continue to suffer these things.

fastway punjab line for cable and haryana line for cable is totally different. they have huge number of channels in punjab while in haryana not so many of them.
