Looks like HTC's next flagship
smartphone, which has been the subject
of several leaks, may be named HTC One
M9 and not HTC One (M9). The name
was briefly put up on the HTC Canada
website and snapped up before being
taken down.

A fresh report by Upleaks has provided a
detailed look at the specifications of the
HTC One M9. The phone will stick to 5-
inch IPS display and full-HD resolution
seen in the HTC One (M8) . A 20.7-
megapixel rear camera with dual-LED
flash is expected along with a front-
facing 4-megapixel camera supported by
HTC's Ultrapixel technology.

As expected, the smartphone is said to b
powered by Qualcomm's flagship chipset,
64-bit Snapdragon 810 , which has been
in the news due to alleged heating
issues. 3GB of RAM and Andreno 430
GPU are also mentioned in the list of
specifications of the HTC One M9.
According to the report, the HTC One M9
will come in 32GB and 64GB inbuilt
storage variants and run on Android
5.0.2 Lollipop with Sense 7.0 UI slapped
on top. Other features tipped include
microSD card support, BoomSound
speakers, Bluetooth 4.1 and 2,840mAh
battery capacity.

Upleaks also mentions three variants of
the smartphone going by the name UHL,
WHL and WL. The UHL variant is said to
reach Asia, Europe, Africa, UAE, Russia,
Turkey, China(Mainland), USA (AT&T, T-
Mobile US, and Developer model),
Canada (include ROGERS, TELUS), and
Latin America. The WHL variant will be
for Sprint and China Telecom, while the
WL variant will be for Verizon only.
