Jacqueline Fernandez will now replace Sonakshi Sinha in Abbas Mustan’s ‘Race’ sequel. According to reports, Sonakshi failed to adjust her dates for the sequel. It is also heard that Jacqueline Fernandez opted out of ‘Krrish’ sequel due to ‘Race 2’.
“Yes, Jacqueline has been roped in to replace Sonakshi, as there were some date problems. In fact, we had postponed the film earlier and hence Sonakshi had date problems as they were clashing with her shoot dates for 'Dabanng 2'. Besides we think that Jacqueline will be perfect for the role and also the fact remains that she is a good actress,” said Ramesh Taurani.
About the film being altered to suit Jacqueline, Taurani says, “No, we haven't done any such changes to suit Jacqueline, the film and the script remain the same as before. We will commence shooting in the first week on November and are looking to release the film in November 2012.”
