jjk0 movie has broken box office record of weathering with you which earlier earned 1.5 million that after several days after release overall approx. only stood at 1.5 crore some years back . JJK0 movie managed to do it in 1st day ticket sale itself thanks to advance booking and opening across most cities and doing better in tier 2 places as well and continuing till now and making new record. hope PVR and other theatres would release anime movie same time as other countries they can do better revenue collection.

sorry for posting this late review - 3rd july watched jjk0 anime movie during afternoon show in theatre - it was nice experience- felt like weeb like atmosphere - couldn't believe more people came most of the seats booked watching anime movie with English subtitles and cheering during scenes while watching movie felt unbelievable during that time . thankfully subtitles were shown properly not blurred like complained by some viewer in other theatre or social media posts. this movie is sort of prequel to jjk anime series. the big screen anime experience was awesome .
