Kapil Sharma's wax statue at Madame Tussauds
Small screen's ace comedian, Kapil Sharma, has added yet another feather to his cap. After featuring in The Forbes India Celebrity list, the stand-up comedian has done something sensational this time.
According to a report on an entertainment portal, the 'Comedy Nights With Kapil' host is the first Indian TV personality to have his wax statue at the prestigious Madame Tussauds. The report further stated that apparently the team which flew down to India to take Prime Minister Narendra Modi's measurement, is the same team that took Kapil's pictures and measurement as well. The meeting happened at Mumbai's J W Marriott. The team has started working on Kapil's statue and it will get ready in six months time, after which it will be revealed soon to the public, concluded the report.
Other popular celebrities who have their statues at The Madame Tussauds (London) are Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan and Madhuri Dixit.
