I know it's a dumb question. Where does KBC get all that money? Who pays them sponsor, broadcaster? How can they dare to give away that much of money? No other shows even comes close to even give half the amount they are giving away one season.

Sponsor, branding, ad slots. Also the show has only one paid star and the set doesn't change so the production cost is also less.

Set can't be the same for Bachchan and Manjule (Marathi KBC host). Yes Marathi Kbc also gets decent paying sponsors as the price is also according to regional level and targets Marathi audience.

Ad Slot Rates much higher (during the KBC short break time) than other time slots , producers earns higher amount also from those time slots for show.

Than awesome. Current run time is exhausting. Ever since last week it has gone better with run time of 1 hr 30 m (with ads) instead of 1 hr 40 m.

Sony TV has expressed regret for referring to Maratha ruler Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj as only ‘Shivaji’ on the Wednesday episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 11. Many on Twitter demanded a ban on the show hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, with the hashtag ‘#Boycott_KBC_SonyTv’ trending on Friday.

Yes, it will come to end on November 29th. As Beyhadh is set to premier 2nd December.
