Actor-comedian, Kiku Sharda became a household name portraying the character of Palak on the show, 'Comedy Nights With Kapil.' After tickling the bones of millions, the show is set to go off-air this month. However, it seems it isn't a 'happy ending' for the show as well as Kiku.

Kiku's act on the 27th December 2015 episode where he did a comedy act, apparently mimicking the Dera Sacha Sauda head, Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, was not well received by the followers of the group.

They have filed a case against the actor at the Fatehbad Police Station under the Section 295A of the Indian Penal Code (outraging religious feelings of any class by insulting it's religion of beliefs).

The actor took the platform of twitter to express his apology-

But, the apology wasn't accepted by the followers who chose not to withdraw the complaint and seek action against him.

We tried contacting Kiku for his comments, however were unable to reach him
