Don't be misled by box office numbers. They spend ridiculous amount on the budget. Take Sahoo for example. They invested ₹350 crores. I don't think they will profit much. IMO amount spent on movie should generate atleast almost the double the amount of money invested for it to qualify it as a hit. Remembering your funds are locked for too long. Lecturing aside.
