I think Asianet kaveri was a joint venture between zee & Asianet.

But channel failed badly,
Later both companies launched zee kannada & suvarna(now star suvarna) respectively,

Both channels are rocking now :tup

Only 3 Movie channels are present in kannada market,

Even I'm waiting for zee kannada cinema.
But I don't think they have enough movies to launch a channel. :shy
Now a days except Udaya tv, No other channels are interested in buying satellite rights. :wall

Even they are repeating same set of movies. But they have better collection than Zee Kannada.

Only Udaya tv has huge library.  :clap :clap
They can start another movie channel if they want. 
But I don't understand why they are repeating only 7-8 movies every time in Suriyan tv. :wall
