he might have put it, or may be newer airtel connections giving sharp lnb's.

Older connections didnt have sharp lnb. :)

correct bro he bought 2 month before only;)

My connection is 8 months old and they provided a Sharp lnb with my connection. Actually in Kerala Sharp lnb is provided with Airtel,D2H and Dish.
In rare cases they provide own brand embedded lnb. I bought one Airtel lnb from another shop.
Case may vary from state to state. I think so. Not sure.
Sun direct only provides sun direct lnbs on Kerala.
One interesting thing is in kerala,All dealers have all brands dealer shipp. I know some cases where sun direct wire is used in airtel dth,in some case s.
Oops I forgot one thing. The service engineer who come to install tried to fit Sun direct lnb, When I enquired all are same. I told I need branded, then he told Sharp comes with Airtel. Later I confirmed with the service manager in Kerala and Even reported it to him. Later he send another service man to verify my connection too and slightly altered my dish alignment to get good signal strength .

hi guys,
im planning to buy a new 100cm dish antenna for Airtel DTH (I'm having problems during rain). Can someone suggest lnb that will not lose signal during rain as well.

I heard about tata sky super lnb - but I dont think it is available in open market. Inverto lnb is 1800 rupees, but sounds too expensive :(

any ideas about lnb that is available in open market that is still very good ?

thank you so much - now to source solid equipment in south delhi ::(
Most of the dish installers that I have called in and around south delhi have refused to install anything other than standard equipment of Tata Sky, Airtel, etc.

Its getting hard to find someone who can do this.

I know this.. in rainy season dishtv is worst. I have both dishtv lnb. These two lnb has low signal strength in my area. I align my dish with Dishtv technician but no improvement. So i decide to change low noise lnb.. so advice which one is suitable for me
