Discussion Looking ugly SD channels

Nowadays almost all TVs are LED TVs . still some SD channels are broadcosting in 4:3 aspect ratio. Its looking so ugly.
Nowadays some FTA channel's also broadcasting in 16:9 ratio .ex sun bangla. Some pay channel's are looting money and did not gives the quality out put to the customers.
For ex star plus(19) , star gold (8), star bharat, Sony max etc.these popular broadcasters running HD channel's for looting more money.
They are forcing take to take HD channel's by giving low quality picture on SD channel's.
Some SD channel's changed to 16:9 aspect ratio and quality also good. For ex Sony, Sab ,colors channel's, sun group channel's. Etc.
So raise your voice friends . post here ugly looking channel's in every section like, entertainment, movies, regional, sports. Etc..
Up to they are changed sd channels to 16:9 ratio with quality.

How is providing superior experience to high paying audience on a latest technology like HD looting? Sure you guys have money to buy 55, 65 inch TVs but not subscribe to HD channels. It's like paying for Spotify and listening in 128kbps than complaining about its services.

Disclaimer : Don't but HD TVs if you can't afford HD channels.

HD is resolution 720p, 1080p,2440p etc
Aspect ratios are 4:3 , 16:9.

To encourage customers to invest in HD TVs and HD connection. Broadcasters' should stop investing in 16:9 for SD channels.

Your argument is useless that are all HD tv buyer's must take HD channel.

Why pay for HD tv if you don't subscribe to HD channels? When compared to rest of the world. Our HD channels are very cheaply priced too.

Most channels you mentioned above doesn't have HD feed. Broadcasters are hence compensating by giving the channels in 16:9 ratio.

And Zee Cinema even on HD looks bad.
