Lost all recording from my d2h 149 gb dvr yesterday automatically.

All was about 120 gb older recording.

That was never before face but few times 13 - 14 recorded & few times 2 - 3 folders.

It happens with d2h few times. Does it happen with ur any dth dvr & how many times done it?

check the settings, have u by mistake formatted the drive or selected the option to automatically delete recording from hard drive when disk is full. check ur settings

Thanks.

All precautions are taken & no done any formatting. Also set criteria of recording deletion for none.

My dvr is 2 years old.

Didnt got it? Please clear it.

My question 2 all of is, is same happen with other dth dvr user?

Reset without format resulted in complete delete in my case as well. My d2h dvr is dec 12 new 500 gb dvr. Strange things do happen in dvr. Once recording playback was having bad audio and i had to format. Buffer recording settings automatically changes to default at times. Also it hangs while watching normal channels and the only way to rectify is switch off and switch on from electric switch. d2h dvr software needs immediate attention. Channel change also stucks every now and then. Boot time is very high. Around 1min.

Boot taking time depend used disk space. My dvr disk was about 90% full & it was takiking time about 3 - 5 minutes.

Maybe u used less space of ur dvr & it take a minute. That is the headache otherwise great experience.

Yes i am using just 30% and it takes 1 min for me. But hang prob is also an issue as interrupts scheduled recordings
