“In 1995, the Nadiadwalas were the first ones to get Dolby Sound in Bollywood with Ram Shastra. In 1999, they were the first ones to use a blue mat (a type of green screen) for a song in Kartoos. Die Hard director John McTiernan was so impressed by it that he wanted to use it in his film Rollerball (2002). They also used cable wire for the first time in the country in Awara Paagal Deewana (2002) and it also had action choreographers from The Matrix and Charlie’s Angels. Mahabharat, meanwhile, will be the first Indian film to be shot in 5D! It’s expected to be so novel and exciting that audiences would throng the cinema halls in hordes worldwide, and not just in India.”

While the core star-cast of the film will comprise of Indian actors, the technical team will boast of international names,” the source informed, adding further that the visual effect team, the background score team, and the action crew will be hired from the West.
