Can’t wait for Naagin Season 2 to being, ca you? We are equally thrilled to find out what happens in the second season. To add to your excitement, BollywoodLife exclusively reveals the first look of Mouni Roy from the series. Mouni Roy is all set to sizzle on-screen as Shivanya AND Shivanya’s daughter. While, Mouni had revealed the look of her younger self on Instagram, Colors TV just put the second promo out where you can see Shivanya’s look too. The promo will get you excited about the show. The cast has already begun shooting for the second season and we can’t wait to get more exciting news about the show.
The show will take a 25 years leap and the promo shows an older Shivanya asking the pandit if her curse of being a Naagin has passed on to her daughter and if so, how she can deal with it. The pandit tells her that her daughter will figure out that she is a Naagin on her own once she is 25 years old. Right then, there is a shot of Shivangi (Shivanya’s daughter) telling herself that she keeps feeling that there is something special about her. There are visuals of Shivangi in a sexy golden outfit (the one Mouni ‘accidently’ put up on her Instagram) and running around. The promo ends with an eagle devouring Shivangi and her turning into a Naagin. The second promo was even better than the first one since, we get to see more of the Naagin.
Though, Arjun Bijlani won’t be a part of Naagin 2 and Karanvir Bohra has been roped in to play his role as Rithik. The show is set to go on air from 8th October 2016. What’s interesting here is that the first season of Naagin was aired on November 8th 2015 and the second season is also set to go on air on the same date, not the same month though. Lucky number’s 8, eh? We hope it’s their lucky number and the second season is as gripping as the first one.
The first season was a huge hit and probably one of the first Indian supernatural shows to get such wide popularity. The first season did wonders for Mouni Roy, Arjun Bijlani and Adaa Khan‘s career as the show was the number 1 show on television. The show also rejuvenated Sudha Chandran’s career as she played a negative role, Yamini Raheja, in it. Naagin 2 will be produced by Balaji Telefilms and Ekta Kapoor and will be directed by Santram Verma.
