MOVIES NOW & COLOURS HD 5.1 SURROUND SOUND ?????????

Good afternoon friends , movies now and colours HD showing 5.1 sound option but iam not getting any sound by changing to 5.1 on both channels , there is no sound , any one getting 5.1 surround sound ????. Info bar showing 5.1 but no audio by changing to 5.1 in both channels.

Do you have a Optical out connection attached to 5.1 HT system?

iam using normal tv ,,,,,,,, but there is no sound when i go to 5.1 sound option frm remote language button,,,,,

but some time back when there was 5.1 sound option on movies now at that time i was getting 5.1 sound on my tv. but this time when 5.1 sound option is back on movies now there is no sound ,,,,,,, any one alse getting sound of colours and movies now 5.1 sound ,,,, plz conform

Which TV you using. Give detail about your cable connection between STB & TV.:huh

brother i thing u didn,t understood my question , iam asking 5.1 channel sound , iam using normal tv with av connection , iam getting those channels audio in stereo mode which is normal mode , but yesterday i saw there is also 5.1 surround sound avaliable on these two channels , when i chose 5.1 sound option frm remote then there is no sound , so basically iam talking about 5.1 surround sound.

You can get 5.1 audio either from HDMI or Optical/Co-axial port.
You will get only stereo audio from AV cable.
Dish TV might have upgraded its STB such that when 5.1 audio is selected then no stereo audio is actually available.

ok thanks brother , can u explain optical Co-axial port ??? what type of cable is this and can i use it with my normal crt tv ..
