My old Dish TV STB takes a long time to start

Help Friends,

My old Dish TV STB (Brand-Kaon) takes a long time to start (Boot).
It first Boots then Initiates then Loads and finally appears the Dish TV Promo screen. This process almost takes 2-3 mints.

Plz give a solution, even can't update the software through RS-232.

Sure u can update Software by RS232 Cable or Stb nfo-> Red button > Forced Software Update

I have also tried the UPDATE option by Remote control, It shows updating but practically doesn't.

But use to charge channels only...
