After a gap of more than a year, Nach Baliye will soon be back on Star Plus.
Yaaaay!! We are exhilarated!!!
Launched a decade back on Star One, Nach Baliye became a cult with celebrity couples taking to the dance floor to entertain masses and go on to with the coveted trophy.
Helmed by SOL Productions for the first couple of seasons, Nach Baliye moved to Wizcraft, that produced three seasons successfully. Season 6 and 7 were produced by Frames Productions and Balaji Telefilms respectively.
Earlier there was a buzz that Endemol might produce the next season but as per latest information we have received, BBC Worldwide India has clutched the coveted contract to helm Nach Baliye upcoming season.
As viewers would know, BBC is currently handling Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, another dance based show on Colors.
The format of the show this time might be ‘Shriman Shrimati’ where couples would be pitted against each other. The creative team is currently finalising on the details and we are yet to get a confirmation on the same.

BBC Worldwide is good Production House. I don't know why Star Plus give Balaji that slot. Ekta was not even able to grab the eyeball.
