I need an additional STB. I'll explain the need of it.
My present STB has become faulty, it is getting turned off / no output after 2 hours approximately. I've recorded many concerts telecasted in various channels from the past few years. If I go for replacement, I think I cannot restore the recorded programs in the new STB, as it was encoded in another Box. I've enquired about fault rectification of the same equipment, but Airtel doesn't follow such procedure, they just give replacement.
Is there any option to decode the content in the hard disk and save in laptop?
