The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has already issued letters to DTH operators asking them to clear pending licence fees with interest..

Rating agency Crisil has said that the licence fee dues demanded by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting from the top four direct to home (DTH) operators are Rs 7,700-8,000 crore while their EBITDA for the current fiscal is estimated at Rs 7,000-7,500 crore.
