New White Color STB - Dolby surround sound issue

I have replaced black color STB with the new white colour STB. I have Sony home theatre system. Now I am not getting the Dolby surround sound. Earlier I used to use an hdmi cable from the stb to the home theatre system but now that is not giving any sound.

Please help in this issue.

I suppose you'll need a spdif cable.

I had used a spdif black cable with white n red output in the home theatre system and the black input in the stb but there was no sound.
