Videocon d2h says in its website that its HD STBs are capable of resolution 1080p, appearing to be superior to other brands. But in HD2244-RF STB, when you go to choose settings for HD resolution under INSTALLATION-BOX SETTINGS-TV SETTINGS, the max resolution option available is only 1080i 60HZ. That means, what Videocon claims is not correct. is it same as 1080P? Pl enlighten me.

Two scanning methods in tv/camera.
P- need more bandwidth. But higher quality noticed in 42 or higher inch displays.
As per my knowledge p is not available in any public transmission bcoz of needed higher bandwidth.
Available in bluray and other home use players having hdmi cables where bw is not a concern.
